Assalamualaikum all,
Just want to share some tips from a previous 'A' 1st Year Medical Student. It is my plan to collect more tips from various over-achievers in various medical schools in order that other students may benefit, insya Allah.
This particular A student (or first class honors for UK & Irish med students) did:
1) wrote her own notes, which were a combination of lecture notes and info from textbooks
2) attempted to answer the questions in the objective book (buku panduan & objektif) for MEQ (modified essay question)
3) read lecture notes at least twice for MCQ
4) went to see lecturer's to get questions answered
5) study group - explained to other students what she knew, quizzed amongst themselves, revised models for OSPE (objective structured practical exam), made their own mnemonics
